review
This is Ella and Cole’s story.

I gave this book 5 stars.

Ella and her boyfriend move from LA to Chicago, she doesn’t want to, but he has persuaded her to go with him. I think because Ella has lost her parents it is easier for David to manipulate her and have her do what he wants her to do. At times it was so hard for me not to scream for her to stick up for herself. Once she gets to college she expects to adjust to life and move on, but what she doesn’t expect is to find a man that she cannot resist. Cole is her boyfriends roommate and should be off limits. Cole is feeling the same connection to her and can hardly resist her. He is caught between a rock and a hard place with her being his best friends girl. Is she worth the risk? What will she do and most importantly what will he do?

This is a book about following your heart, and the consequences of doing that. Cole is such a sweetheart and it broke my heart that he finally found a girl that he was willing to give everything to and she turns out to be his best friends girl. Love is tested, lessons are learned and nothing will ever be the same in this coming of age story. It is a must read! Thank you for you amazing story Melissa! I can’t wait to read the next one!!! ❤
